Comments:
The Ford Pilot was the largest car sold by Ford in England in the late 1940’s. This car has been the subject of an extensive restoration and presents very well. The black duco is in very good condition as are the chrome bumpers and other items.
The seats, door trims and carpet are all in very good condition as is the simulated wood grained metal dashboard. All original items appear to be fitted and an aftermarket stereo is secuerd under the dashboard.
The chassis ID numbers have not been confirmed.
The mechanical condition was not appraised due the absence of keys. Every indication is that the mechanical condition is in working condition.
Accessories fitted to the car include; whitewall tyres, seat belts and stereo.
In the present condition I would estimate a value of AUD$12,000.
John C H McLean.
