| Description DeSoto Deluxe Ute 1955. Also known as a Coupe ute. Pretty complete, has issues. Needs to be moved on, I am under intense pressure to get rid of it so go she must. Firewall tag reads 108D-S 220 S. Has windscreen (one piece) which places it as a second half of 1955 to 1958 model. Is same or similar to Fargo or Dodge. Original colour is pale pastel blue. Please don't ask for the badges or other parts to finish your project. Originally sold in Adelaide by Franklin Motors, how do I know this? It has a dealer plate riveted on it. Kew motor (flathead sidevalve straight 6) referred to as the 250ci (actually 249) looks like it would go but I have never tried, has a bent propeller shaft. Engine has oil in it.
